Model and serial numbers can help you find the right Cub Cadet genuine factory-direct replacement parts for your outdoor power equipment. Follow our guide to find out exactly where your model or serial tag is located on all of your Cub Cadet outdoor power equipment. What does my model and serial number look like? The majority of model/serial tags are white and measure 2" x 3". In some cases they're smaller, measuring 1" x 1 1/2". The tag will indicate both the model and serial number, as well as the date of manufacture. A barcode will also be printed on the tag, in addition to the product's brand name, a customer service phone number, and the brand's address. Cub Cadet models made in 1997 and after include model/serial numbers with 11 characters. Characters include numbers, dashes, and letters.
ID tags are typically placed in areas that are least likely to need replacement. Even after years of using your Cub Cadet equipment, the ID tag should still be present and still in relatively easy-to-read condition.
Locate your outdoor power equipment below and read the details to find exactly where your ID tag should be located. You can also view these videos to help you locate your ID tag.
When you've located the model number, write the number down in a safe place so you can save it for future use. You can also write the number in your owner's manual, or use an indelible marker or engraving tool to write the number directly on your power equipment.
